Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 Save that which Allah may will. Verily He knoweth the public and that which is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 Therefore remind (men) in case the reminder profits (them). 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
