Saad 5 of 5
Say: "I am only a warner, and there is no other god but God, the one, the omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 from which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 The Lord said, "Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating before what I have created with My own hands? Was it because of your pride or are you truly exalted?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
