The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 then raise sparks of fire (by their hoofs), 2 then raid by the dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And indeed, he is to that a witness. 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 And that which is in the breasts (of men) shall be made known. 10 Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted. 11
Almighty God's Truth.
