The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

(I swear) by the snorting chargers (of the warriors), whose hoofs strike against the rocks 1 Striking sparks of fire 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 Raising clouds of dust, 4 forcing their way into the midst of the enemy, 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
