The dwellers of the forest also rejected the messengers. 176 When Shu'aib said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage is only with the Lord of the Worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not cheat; 181 And weigh with the true balance. 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 And guard against (the punishment of) Him who created you and the former nations. 184 They said, “You are under a magic spell.” 185 you are only a mortal like us. Indeed we believe that you are an utter liar. 186 Drop down on us lumps from heaven, if you are one of the truthful' 187 He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do." 188 In response they denied him – therefore the punishment of the day of the tent* seized them; that was indeed a punishment of a Great Day. (The clouds formed a tent and rained fire upon them). 189 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 190 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 191
