Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

DOOMED are the hands of him of the glowing countence: and doomed is he! 1 His wealth did not benefit him in the least, nor did whatever he earned. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 and his wife, laden with firewood 4 A rope made from palm fibre around her neck! 5

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
