The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

By the (Steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 striking sparks of fire with their hooves, 2 by the dawn-raiders 3 blazing a trail of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 VERILY, towards his Sustainer man is most ungrateful 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And what is in the breasts is made apparent? 10 On that day will their Lord be perfectly informed concerning them. 11
