۞ To Abraham We gave the right guidance and We knew him very well. 51 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: what are these images to which ye are cleaving? 52 They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them." 53 He said: "Certainly you and your fathers have all been in manifest error." 54 They said: "Are you expressing your true ideas before us or are you jesting?" 55 He said: Nay, but your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them; and I am of those who testify unto that. 56 By Allah, I will certainly outwit your idols as soon as you have turned your backs and gone' 57 So he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it. 58 They said: Who hath done this to our gods? Surely it must be some evil-doer. 59 'We have heard a young man called Abraham mention them' they replied. 60 The others said: "Bring him, then, before the eyes of the people that they may see (what will be done to him)." 61 They said, 'So, art thou the man who did this unto our gods, Abraham?' 62 He answered: "Rather it was this supreme one who has done it. So ask them, if they can speak." 63 They then turned to themselves, and said: verily ye it is who are the wrong-doers. 64 Thereafter they were made to turn over upon their heads, saying, assuredly thou knowest that they speak not. 65 He said, “What! You worship, instead of Allah, one that neither benefits you nor harms you?” 66 Fie on you and those you worship besides God! Will you not understand?" 67 They said, “Burn him and help your Gods, if you want to.” 68 We (Allah) said: "O fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 69 They had devised an evil plan (against Abraham), but We turned it into failure." 70 And We delivered him and Lut to the land wherein We had placed Our blessings for the worlds. 71 And We bestowed on him Isaac and, as an additional gift, (a grandson), Jacob, and We made righteous men of every one (of them). 72 and appointed them leaders to guide by Our Command and We revealed to them to do good deeds, and to establish the prayer, and the giving of charity, and they were for Us worshipers. 73 And We gave Lut the kingdom and knowledge, and We rescued him from the township that committed vile deeds; indeed those evil people were disobedient. 74 And We admitted him into Our mercy. Verily he was of the righteous. 75

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
