He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 And what do you know, he may be of the pure! 3 or yet remember, and the Reminder profit him. 4 Yet you pay attention 5 you attend to him, 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 But he who comes to you running, 8 And is afraid (of Allah and His Punishment), 9 From him you are distracted. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 So whoever wishes may remember it. 12 [It is recorded] in honored sheets, 13 Exalted and purified, 14 borne by the hands of scribes, 15 noble and pious. 16 Cursed is man; how disbelieving is he. 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 Of a drop of seed. He created him and formed him according to a measure. 19 Then He makes the Path easy for him; 20 Then He causes his death and provides a grave for him. 21 Then when He listeth, He shall raise him to life. 22 Nay; but he has not done what He bade him. 23 Let Man consider his nourishment. 24 How We pour water in showers 25 and split the earth, splitting, 26 how We made the grain to grow, 27 together with grapes and vegetables, 28 And the olive and the palm, 29 And gardens of dense shrubbery 30 And fruits and fodder,- 31 (These are made so as to be) means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 32 But when the deafening cry comes, 33 on that Day each person will flee from his brother, 34 And his mother and his father, 35 his wife and his children. 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 on that Day some faces will be beaming, 38 laughing, joyous; 39 but some faces will be covered with dust 40 Darkness will cover them, 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
True are the words of God the Almighty.

Notes and Instructions
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
