The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 And by the Day promised, 2 and [of] Him who witnesses [all,] and [of] that unto which witness is borne [by Him]! 3 (Self-)destroyed were the owners of the ditch 4 with fire abounding in fuel, 5 When they sat by it, 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecuted the believing men and women and never repented, there is for them the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), and for them the punishment of the burning. 10 [But,] verily, they who attain to faith and do righteous deeds shall [in the life to come] have gardens through which running waters flow - that triumph most great! 11 Verily, (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the Grip (Punishment) of your Lord is severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Master of the Honourable Throne. 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Has the story of the hordes 17 [Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 But God surrounds them from all sides. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
