Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 and lifted from thee the burden 2 Which pressed heavily upon your back, 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 After every difficulty there is relief. 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And make your Lord your exclusive object. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
