Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 And man says, “What has happened to it?” 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 So whosoever does good equal to the weight of an atom (or a small ant), shall see it. 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
