Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

DESTROYED WILL BE the hands of Abu Lahab, and he himself will perish. 1 His property and worldly gains will be of no help to him. 2 He shall soon enter a Blazing Fire, 3 And his wife, the bearer of fuel, 4 On her neck shall be a cord of twisted fibre. 5

God the Almighty always says the truth.
