Have you seen the one who turned away 33 and grudgingly spends very little for the cause of God? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or, has he not been told of that which is in the Scrolls of Moses 36 and Abraham, he who paid his debt in full? 37 That no burdened soul bears another soul’s burden? 38 and that man shall have nothing but what he has striven for, 39 And that his effort is going to be seen - 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 and that it is He who causes to die, and causes to live 44 And that He created pairs, the male and the female 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 That He hath promised a Second Creation (Raising of the Dead); 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 that it was He that destroyed ancient Aad 50 And destroyed the tribe of Thamud, not sparing anyone? 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 And covered them by that which He covered. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 None but God can avert it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So prostrate yourselves before Allah and worship. ۩ 62
