The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 – and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence – 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 Those on the Left -- how unlucky are those on the Left! 9 Then the foremost, how pre-excellent, 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 They are in Gardens of peace. 12 Many of them will be from the ancient people 13 but only a few from the later generations. 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 reclining on them, arrayed face to face; 16 Immortal youths will wait upon them 17 with goblets and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 Also, they will be served with the fruits of their choice 20 And with flesh of fowls from that which they desire. 21 They will have maidens with large, lovely black and white eyes, 22 like hidden pearls, 23 a recompense for all that they did. 24 There they shall hear no idle talk, no cause of sin, 25 Except the saying, “Peace, peace.” 26 The companions of the right - what are the companions of the right? 27 They will be in (the shade) of thornless lote 28 and flower-clad acacias, 29 and shade extended, 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit in plenty, 32 never-ending and unforbidden. 33 And [with them will be their] spouses, raised high: 34 Lo! We have created them a (new) creation 35 And have made them virgins. 36 full of love, well-matched 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
