And those who disbelieve say: when we have become dust, we and our fathers, shall we, for sooth, be brought forth? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 “Proclaim, (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Travel in the land and see what sort of fate befell the guilty.” 69 Do not grieve over them, and do not be distressed by what they contrive. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 But, verily, thy Sustainer knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they bring into the open: 74 There is nothing that is hidden - be it in the heaven or the earth - but is recorded in a Clear Book. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the Word (of torment) is fulfilled against them, We shall bring out from the earth a beast to them, which will speak to them because mankind believed not with certainty in Our Ayat (Verses of the Quran and Prophet Muhammad SAW). 82
