Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 So when the lights of the stars are put out. 8 And when the heaven is cloven asunder. 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set 11 For what Day was it postponed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And We placed high mountains as anchors in it and gave you sweet water to drink. 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 "Indeed it throws about sparks (huge) as Forts, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 34 This is a Day they will not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the day of decision: We have gathered you and those of yore. 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
