The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 It was promised to us and to our fathers before us. It is only ancient legends." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Lo! this Qur'an narrateth unto the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they differ. 76 and it is a guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 And verily thine Lord shall decide between them with His judgment, and He is the Mighty, the Knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [submitting to Allah]. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
