۞ Such as fear not the meeting with Us (for Judgment) say: "Why are not the angels sent down to us, or (why) do we not see our Lord?" Indeed they have an arrogant conceit of themselves, and mighty is the insolence of their impiety! 21 The Day, when they will see the angels, will not be a day of rejoicing for the criminals; they will cry out, "May Allah save us!" 22 We shall turn to their deeds and scatter them like particles of dust. 23 Fellows of the Garden shall be on that Day in a goodly abode and a goodly repose. 24 On a Day when the sky will split open with its clouds and the angels are sent down rank upon rank, 25 the true Kingdom on that Day shall belong to the Merciful a harsh day for the unbelievers. 26 The sinner will then bite his hand and say: "Would that I had taken the road with the Prophet. 27 “Woe to me – alas, if only I had not taken that one for a friend.” 28 “He indeed led me astray from the advice that had come to me”; and Satan deserts man, leaving him unaided. 29 The Messenger says, 'O my Lord, behold, my people have taken this Koran as a thing to be shunned.' 30 Thus have We made for every prophet an enemy among the sinners: but enough is thy Lord to guide and to help. 31 And the disbelievers say, “Why was the Qur’an not sent down to him all at once?” This is how We sent it in stages, in order to strengthen your heart with it and We read it slowly, in stages. 32 There is not an example they advance to which We do not give you a right answer and a better explanation. 33 Those who will be pushed faces forward into Hell will be in a worse position, farther away from the path. 34
