The Companions of the Rocky Tract also rejected the messengers: 80 We showed them miracles but they ignored them. 81 And they used to hew out dwellings from the hills, (wherein they dwelt) secure. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Your Lord is certainly the All-knowing Creator. 86 We have indeed given you the seven oft-repeated (examples), and the majestic Qur'an. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 And say thou: verily I! I am a plain warner. 89 Such as We send down for those who make division, 90 Those who made the Quran into shreds. 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 For all their deeds. 93 Therefore publicly announce what you are commanded, and turn away from the polytheists. 94 Surely We suffice to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 So glorify the praises of your Lord and be of those who prostrate themselves (to Him). 98 And worship your Lord until there comes to you the certainty (death). 99
