1/2 Hizb 45
< random >
۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 "Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire! 23 And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 24 What is the matter with you that you do not help each other? 25 Nay, but on that Day they would willingly surrender [to God]; 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 Those say, 'No; on the contrary, you were not believers; 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 So all of them on that day are sharers in the chastisement. 33 Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals. 34 For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride, 35 and said, "Should we give up our idols for the sake of an insane poet". 36 'No indeed; but he brought the truth, and confirmed the Envoys. 37 Behold, you will indeed taste grievous suffering [in the life to come,] 38 although you shall not be requited for aught but what you were wont to do. 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise). 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 White and delicious to the drinkers; 46 wherein no sickness is, neither intoxication; 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then they will advance unto each other, mutually questioning. 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 Then he will say, "Shall we look for him?" 54 Then he will look downwards, and will see him in the depths of Hell. 55 and says: "By God! Verily, thou hast almost destroyed me [too, O my erstwhile companion] 56 And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I too had been of those haled forth (to doom). 57 Then, are we not to die 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is such [a paradise] the better welcome - or the [hellish] tree of deadly fruit? 62 For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 Indeed, it is a tree issuing from the bottom of the Hellfire, 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 And verily they must eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 Then to Hell they will surely be returned. 68 They found their father going astray 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred, 71 though We had sent warners among them. 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74
