Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Those who disbelieved – be they from the People of the Book or from those who associated others with Allah in His Divinity – will not desist from unbelief until the Clear Proof should come to them; 1 a Messenger from God, reciting pages purified, 2 Wherein are discourses eternal. 3 Nor were the People of the Scripture divided until after the clear proof came unto them. 4 And they are ordered naught else than to serve Allah, keeping religion pure for Him, as men by nature upright, and to establish worship and to pay the poor-due. That is true religion. 5 Indeed all disbelievers, the People of the Book(s) and the polytheists, are in the fire of hell – they will remain in it for ever; it is they who are the worst among the creation. 6 But those who believe, and do righteous deeds, those are the best of creatures; 7 Their reward with Allah will be gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they will abide forever, Allah being pleased with them and they with Him. That is for whoever has feared his Lord. 8
