۞ We sent a revelation to Moses telling him to leave with our servants during the night; they would be pursued (by the Pharaoh). 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to (all) the Cities, 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 and they have enraged us, 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 Thus did We drive them out of their gardens and springs 57 Treasures, and every kind of honourable position; 58 and We made the Children of Israel inheritors of these bounties. 59 Pharaoh and his people pursued them at sunrise, 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 [Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." 62 Then We revealed to Moses, (commanding him): "Strike the sea with your rod." Thereupon the sea split up, and then each became like the mass of a huge mount. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 and drowned the other party. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 68
