The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah pleases, surely He knows the manifest, and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore give admonition in case the admonition profits (the hearer). 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 Writs of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
Almighty God's Truth.
