Say, (O Prophet): “I call on my Lord alone, and I do not associate aught with Him in His Divinity.” 20 Say: "It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path." 21 Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: 22 My duty is only to convey that which I receive from Him and His messages." For those who disobey God and His Messenger there is the fire of hell, wherein they will abide forever. 23 Until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and fewer in numbers. 24 (Muhammad), say, "I do not know whether that with which you have been threatened is close by or whether my Lord will prolong the time of its coming. 25 He [alone] knows that which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, and to none does He disclose aught of the mysteries of His Own unfathomable knowledge, 26 Save unto every messenger whom He hath chosen, and then He maketh a guard to go before him and a guard behind him 27 So that He may know that they have truly delivered the messages of their Lord, and He encompasses what is with them and He records the number of all things. 28
