So I do call to witness what ye see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet, little is that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 [it is] a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would have definitely taken revenge from him. 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein, 46 and not one of you could have defended him. 47 And most surely it is a reminder for those who guard (against evil). 48 And indeed, We know that among you are deniers. 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And Verily, it (this Quran) is an absolute truth with certainty. 51 Extol, then the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's mighty name! 52
