۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 'Behold, these are a small troop, 54 And lo! they are offenders against us. 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" 61 Moses replied, "No, My Lord is with me, and He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near thither the others. 64 We delivered Moses and all who were with him; 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
