The physical growth of those whom We grant a long life will be reversed. Will you then not understand? 68 And We have not taught him poetry, nor it befitteth him. This is but an admonition and a Recital luminous: 69 To warn whosoever liveth, and that the word may be fulfilled against the disbelievers. 70 Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so they are their masters? 71 And have subjected the animals for them, so they ride some animals and eat some? 72 And therein they have advantages and drinks; will they not then be grateful? 73 And they have taken gods besides Allah that they may be helped. 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 Therefore let not their speech grieve you; surely We know what they do in secret and what they do openly. 76 IS MAN, then, not aware that it is We who create him out of a [mere] drop of sperm - whereupon, lo! he shows himself endowed with the power to think and to argue? 77 And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?" 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 He, Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! You kindle therewith. 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth able to create the like of them? Yea! and He is the Creator (of all), the Knower. 81 But His command, when He intendeth a thing, is only that He saith unto it: Be! and it is. 82 So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to Him you shall be returned. 83
