(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 and ease my task for me. 26 Remove the defect of my tongue 27 That they may understand my saying. 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 to support me. 31 "And let him share my task (of conveying Allah's Message and Prophethood), 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 "Verily! You are of us Ever a Well-Seer." 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 And assuredly We conferred a benefit on thee another time. 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 Place him in a chest and throw it into the river, and thereupon the river will cast him ashore, [and] one who is an enemy unto Me and an enemy unto him will adopt him. "And [thus early] I spread Mine Own love over thee - and [this] in order that thou might be formed under Mine eye. 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 I have chosen you for Myself. 41 go therefore, thou and thy brother; with My signs, and neglect not to remember Me. 42 Go to Pharaoh, for he has become insolent. 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 They said, "Our Lord, indeed we are afraid that he will hasten [punishment] against us or that he will transgress." 45 'Fear not,' said He. 'Surely I shall be with you, hearing and seeing. 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 Surely it has been revealed to us that the chastisement will surely come upon him who rejects and turns back. 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 He said: Our Lord is He Who gave unto everything its nature, then guided it aright. 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation, 53 Do you eat, and pasture your cattle! Surely in that are signs for men possessing reason. 54
