The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 who determines the nature [of all that exists], and guided it accordingly; 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget, 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then therein he shall neither live nor die. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 While the Hereafter is better and more enduring. 17 This indeed is what is taught in the former scriptures -- 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
