The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

When earth is shaken with a mighty shaking 1 And Earth yieldeth up her burdens, 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord sent a command to it. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So whoever does a good deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 7 and whoever does an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
