The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like plucked wool-tufts. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 his head will be in the Plunging 9 And what shall make thee know that which she is? 10 It is the scorching fire. 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
