But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 He said, 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, excepting those that are astray?' 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
