And the dwellers of Al Hijr also belied the Messengers. 80 And We gave them Our communications, but they turned aside from them; 81 They were hewing the mountains into houses, therein dwelling securely; 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 Out of what they had gained, nothing proved to be of any benefit to them. 84 And We have not created the heaven and the earth and that which is in between them save with a purpose. And verily the Hour is surely coming; so overlook thou with a seemly overlooking, 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 We have given you the seven dual (verses, Al Fatihah) and the Mighty Holy Reading (Koran). 87 Do not even cast your eyes towards the worldly goods We have granted to different kinds of people, nor grieve over the state they are in, but turn your loving attention to the believers instead, 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 And severed their Scripture into fragments. 91 Now by thy Lord, We shall surely question them all together 92 for what they have done 93 So shout that thou art commanded and turn thou away from the idolaters. 94 We are surely sufficient to deal with those who scoff at you, 95 Who set some other god along with Allah. But they will come to know. 96 We are well aware that you are disheartened by what they say. 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the certainty (i.e. death). 99
