We swear that We have created the human being and We know what his soul whispers to him. We are closer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 not a word he utters, but by him is an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 And every person will come forth along with an (angel) to drive (him), and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 who has set up another deity beside God: cast him, then, cast him into suffering severe!" 26 ۞ His satanic companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him, but he himself went astray". 27 "Do not argue in My presence. I had announced the promise of doom in advance. 28 My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants. 29

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
