The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The commandment of Allah will come to pass, so seek not ye to hasten it. Glorified and Exalted be He above all that they associate (with Him). 1 He causes the angels to descend with this divine inspiration, [bestowed] at His behest upon whomever He wills of His servants: "Warn [all human beings] that there is no deity save Me: be, therefore, conscious of Me!" 2 He created the heavens and earth in truth. High is He above what they associate with Him. 3 He created man from a sperm-drop; then at once, he is a clear adversary. 4 And He created the cattle for you; you have in them warm clothing and (many) advantages, and of them do you eat. 5 how pleasant they look when you bring them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 They carry your loads to a land which you could not otherwise reach except by painful toil to oneself. Your Lord is the Clement, the Most Merciful. 7 And (He has created) horses, mules and donkeys, for you to ride and as an adornment. And He creates (other) things of which you have no knowledge. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
