And when Moses said unto his servant: I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I march on for ages. 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 And after the two had walked some distance, [Moses] said to his servant: "Bring us our mid-day meal; we have indeed suffered hardship on this [day of] our journey!" 62 He said: Did you see when we took refuge on the rock then I forgot the fish, and nothing made me forget to speak of it but the Shaitan, and it took its way into the river; what a wonder! 63 'This is what we have been seeking' said he, and they retraced their footsteps 64 and found one of Our worshipers to whom We had given from Our Mercy, and to whom We had taught knowledge of Ours. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 [The other] answered: "Behold, thou wilt never be able to have patience with me 67 for how couldst thou be patient about something that thou canst not comprehend within the compass of [thy] experience?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
