And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 And not one of you but shall pass over it: it is for thy Lord an ordinance decreed. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 But how many (countless) generations before them have we destroyed, who were even better in equipment and in glitter to the eye? 74 Say: As for him who remains in error, the Beneficent Allah will surely prolong his length of days, until they see what they were threatened with, either the punishment or the hour; then they shall know who is in more evil plight and weaker in forces 75 God gives greater guidance to those who are guided; and good deeds that endure are better with your Lord for reward, and better for consequence. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he, perchance, attained to a realm which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception? or has he concluded a covenant with the Most Gracious? 78 By no means! We shall write down all what he says; and We shall greatly prolong his chastisement, 79 All that he claims will revert to Us, and he will come before Us all alone. 80 And they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that they would be for them [a source of] honor. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
