Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 And make my affair easy to me, 26 Unloose the knot upon my tongue, 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 And appoint for me a minister from my household. 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 to support me. 31 "And make him share my task: 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 "And remember You much, 34 Verily, Thou seest all that is within us!" 35 Said He, 'Thou art granted, Moses, thy petition. 36 It is the second time that We have bestowed upon you Our favor. 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 "'Put him into a chest, then cast it into the river. The river will cast it on to the bank, and there he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and his.' I showered My love on you so that you might be reared under My watchful eye. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 And I chose you for Myself. 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 Then go to the Pharaoh as he has become exceedingly rebellious. 43 But speak unto him in a mild manner, so that he might bethink himself or [at least] be filled with apprehension. 44 Both said: O our Lord! Surely we fear that he may hasten to do evil to us or that he may become inordinate. 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 So go to him, and say: verily we are two apostles of thy Lord, so let go with us the Children of Isra'il, and torment them not; surely we have come unto thee with a sign from thy Lord: and peace be upon him who followeth the guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that a punishment will fall on those who belie and turn away." 48 Pharaoh said:" Moses! Who is the Lord of the two of you?" 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 He (Moses) answered: 'The knowledge of them is in a Book with My Lord. My Lord neither goes astray, nor forgets. 52 It is He who made the earth a bed for you, and traced for you paths upon it, and sends down water from the sky, and brings out through it every kind of vegetation 53 (Saying): Eat ye and feed your cattle. Lo! herein verily are portents for men of thought. 54
