And indeed, We delivered the children of Israel from the shameful suffering 30 [inflicted on them] by Pharaoh, seeing that he was truly outstanding among those who waste their own selves; 31 And assuredly We elected them with knowledge above the worlds. 32 and bestowed upon them the Signs wherein lay an evident test for them. 33 Indeed these people say: 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 So bring our ancestors back, if you are truthful." 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is in-between the twain sporting. 38 We created them not save in truth; but most of them know it not. 39 Verily the Day of sorting out is the time appointed for all of them,- 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 save those to whom God shows mercy. Surely, He is the Mighty, the Merciful One. 42
