We certainly gave the Book to Moses, but differences arose therein: had it not been that a word had gone forth before from thy Lord, the matter would have been decided between them, but they are in suspicious doubt concerning it. 110 And indeed to each and every one, your Lord will fully repay his deeds; He is Informed of their deeds. 111 So remain on a right course as you have been commanded, [you] and those who have turned back with you [to Allah], and do not transgress. Indeed, He is Seeing of what you do. 112 And do not incline toward those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped. 113 And be constant in praying at the beginning and the end of the day, as well as during the early watches of the night: for, verily, good deeds drive away evil deeds: this is a reminder to all who bear [God] in mind. 114 And be patient; for indeed Allah never lets the reward of those who do good go to waste. 115 Why were there not of the generations before you owners of wisdom restraining others from corruption on the earth, except a few of those whom We delivered from amongst them! And those who did wrong followed that in which they luxuriated, and they had been sinners. 116 And thy Lord is not one to destroy cities wrongously while the inhabitants thereof are rectifiers. 117 If thy Lord had so willed, He could have made mankind one people: but they will not cease to dispute. 118 Except those on whom your Lord has mercy; and for this did He create them; and the word of your Lord is fulfilled: Certainly I will fill hell with the jinn and the men, all together. 119 (O Muhammad!) We narrate these anecdotes of Messengers to you that We may strengthen through them your heart. In these anecdotes come to you the truth, and an exhortation, and a reminder for the believers. 120 Say to those who disbelieve: 'Do according to your station; we are doing according to our station' 121 Wait; we too are waiting' 122 And Allah's is the Unseen of the heavens and the earth, and unto Him the whole affair shall be brought back. So worship Him thou and rely on Him; and thy Lord is not negligent of that which ye work. 123
