The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) clear. 2 Perhaps, [O Muhammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers. 3 If We please, We should send down upon them a sign from the heaven so that their necks should stoop to it. 4 And never comes there unto them a Reminder as a recent revelation from the Most Beneficent (Allah), but they turn away therefrom. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth, how many We caused to grow in it every generous kind? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 9
