Al-Rahman 3 of 3
Those who fear their Lord will have two gardens 46 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 47 Full of overhanging branches -- 48 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 49 In both of them, there are two springs flowing. 50 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 51 Therein are two kinds of every fruit. 52 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 53 Reclining upon couches lined with silk brocade, the fruit of both the gardens near to hand. 54 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 55 Upon thrones are the women who do not gaze at men except their husbands, and before them, are untouched by any man or jinn. 56 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny?- 57 [When you are promised splendours] as though [of] rubies and [of] pearls 58 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 59 Is the reward for good [anything] but good? 60 Which of the laudable attributes of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 61 And besides these two are two (other) gardens: 62 which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 63 dark green in color. 64 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 65 In [each of] these two [gardens] will two springs gush forth. 66 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 67 With fruits in them, and dates and pomegranates -- 68 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 69 In these [gardens] will be [all] things most excellent and beautiful. 70 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 71 [There the blest will live with their] companions pure and modest, in pavilions [splendid] 72 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 73 untouched before them by any man or jinn -- 74 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 75 Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses. 76 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 77 Blessed be the name of your Lord, the Lord of Glory and Honor! 78
