Al-Najm 3 of 3
Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that nought shall be accounted unto man but what he is striving for; 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 That He created pairs, male and female, 45 From seed when it is emitted. 46 And that on Him is the bringing forth a second time; 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud - and He did not spare [them] - 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And He destroyed the Overthrown Cities (of Sodom and Gomorrah). 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 He who warns you is one of the warners of old. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 No one besides God can rescue a soul from hardship. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Will you remain proudly heedless? 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
