۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He so wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new mankind [in your stead]: 16 And with Allah that shall not be hard. 17 AND NO BEARER of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; and if one weighed down by his load calls upon [another] to help him carry it, nothing thereof may be carried [by that other,] even if it be one's near of kin. Hence, thou canst [truly] warn only those who stand in awe of their Sustainer although He is beyond the reach of their perception, and are constant in prayer, and [know that] whoever grows in purity, attains to purity but for the good of his own self, and [that] with God is all journeys' end. 18 Not alike are the blind and the seeing. 19 nor are darkness and light 20 shade and heat are not alike, 21 Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves. 22 You are no more than a warner. 23 We have sent you in all truth as a bearer of glad news and a warner. No nation who lived before was left without a warner. 24 If they call you a liar, so had those before them called their apostles liars, who had come to them with clear proofs, scriptures and the splendent Book. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
