But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 We have not instructed the (Prophet) in Poetry, nor is it meet for him: this is no less than a Message and a Qur'an making things clear: 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Have they not seen what We have created from the labor of Our own hands? We have given them cattle. 71 And We have tamed them for them, so some of them they ride, and some of them they eat. 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 They chose idols besides God in the hope of receiving help from them, but they will not be able to help them. 74 They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers in attendance. 75 So be not grieved by what they say. We certainly know what they hide and disclose. 76 Has the human not seen how We created him from a drop (of sperm)? Yet he is a clear opponent. 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say: "He who brought them into being in the first instance will give them life [once again,] seeing that He has full knowledge of every act of creation: 79 He has created fire for you out of the green tree from which you can kindle other fires. 80 How can He who created the heavens and the earth not be able to create others like them? Why not? He is the real creator all-knowing. 81 His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
