And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 Peace on Noah among all men. 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and to his people: "What is it that which you worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 what, then, is your opinion of the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 so they turned their backs on him and went off. 90 Then he slipped unto their gods and said: eat ye not? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. 93 Then came (the worshippers) with hurried steps, and faced (him). 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 So they plotted a plot against him, but We made them the lowest. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 But as soon as the two had surrendered themselves to [what they thought to be] the will of God, and [Abraham] had laid him down on his face, 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 thou hast confirmed the vision; even so We recompense the good-doers. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Salamun (peace) be upon Ibrahim (Abraham)!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
