We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen servants of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 except an old woman who lingered, 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Will ye not therefore reflect? 138
