Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 Recall what time he said unto his people: fear ye not? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 save an old woman among those that tarried; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by them in the morning 137 and at night. Do you still not understand? 138
