Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
