And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 and guided them upon the Straight Path. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 129 "Peace and salutation to such as Elias!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot too was one of the Envoys; 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
