(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 from which you are turning away. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 after I have shaped him and breathed of My spirit (I created) into him, fall down prostrate before him' 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I shall assuredly fill Gehenna with thee, and with whosoever of them follows thee, all together.' 85 Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no fee for this, and I am no simulating. 86 This [divine writ,] behold, is no less than a reminder to all the worlds — 87 "And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while. 88
